Last week we featured three of the most popular aromatherapy diffusers in our shops for the past 2022. But do you really know anything about the use of aromatherapy diffusers? Recently we have received a lot of confusion from our customers on how to use the aroma diffuser. They said they had some problems with them. Like how much water do we need to add? What kind of essential oil can be added? Many customers sent feedback that the aromatherapy machine does not work,the last reason is the consequence of improper use. Therefore, we will publish a guide on how to use an aroma diffuser properly. In fact, the process of using an aroma diffuser is quite simple if done correctly!（This guide uses our most popular Flame Diffuser as an example）

a.Unboxing for the aroma diffuser 

1. Check whether the product packaging is intact and whether the appearance of the product is flawed. 

This picture is from our one of customers, shows our packaging and the box packaging designed by ourselves, which is very exquisite. Use bubble bag packaging, safe and secure. Moreover, our products are generally issued after passing the test. Secondly, carefully check whether the button works properly before using it. And the packing list, Generally, there are Aroma Diffuser*1 + USB Type-C cable*1 + English manual*1 in the packing box

b. Internal structure guide

*Vent: Generally speaking, some aromatherapy diffusers have vents, If your aromatherapy machine has a vent, there is a small fan for heat dissipation under it, please do not add water or essential oil into the vents. Otherwise water will seep through here and damage the underlying circuit board.  After adding water, the essential oil can be dripped directly into the water. 

*Max line: The maximum line is marked on the outside of each aroma diffuser water tank. When we use it, be careful not to add water to exceed the highest water line.  Because Adding too much water will cause the water to overflow from the aromatherapy diffuser. If the water flows into the main unit, the main unit will be damaged due to water ingress. The more water is added, the greater the possibility of overflow.

c.Instructions before use

1.The water filling process of the aromatherapy machine should be operated with power off, and there should be no water source and open flames around to avoid pollution or fire caused by the volatilization of essential oils.

2.Due to the difference in water quality, you should observe whether there is scale at the bottom of the aromatherapy machine before each use. If there is any scale, you can wipe it with alcohol wipes to avoid clogging the mist generator

3. Adapter: Use original cable and adapter with recommended power (5V2A, 5V1A). It is best to use a single-port adapter instead of a 2-port or multi-port adapter, because when other electrical appliances are powered at the same time, there may be a current shunt phenomenon, resulting in a power less than the nominally rated 2A. Pay attention to the instructions how much current adapter is used for aromatherapy diffuser,sufficient current can ensure the spray and lighting effect of aromatherapy diffuser, like our flame aroma diffuser use 5V2A adapter, volcano diffuser use 5V1A adapter.  If the aromatherapy diffuser has its own adapter in the packing box, then use its own adapter is ok.

4.Aromatherapy essential oil can choose pure natural plant essential oil according to your different preferences. When adding essential oil, pour water first and then add essential oil to dilute → otherwise, it may corrode a circle of waterproof glue around the atomizing sheet, causing water inflow.

5.During the use of the aroma diffuser, do not close the room, and keep the air in the room circulated.

6.When not in use for a long time, the water in the diffuser should be poured out and cleaned to avoid bacterial contamination.

d.How to use Aroma Diffuser?

1. Prepare essential oils and enough water. Add a proper amount of water to the sink of the aromatherapy diffuser, and be careful not to exceed the max water line.

2.Add 3-5 drops of essential oil to the water without stirring. The two will be mixed when the aromatherapy diffuser is atomized. （Pay attention to adding normal essential oil, do not add perfume with alcohol or corrosive cologne perfume, otherwise it will corrode the atomizing tablets and cause damage.）

3. Use the correct adapter and plug-in power. The aromatherapy diffuser is powered on. Click its button, and mist will erupt in a few seconds.

4. Click the button again to control the lights of the aromatherapy diffuser. Most aromatherapy diffusers have the function of lighting night lights, and even now many have colorful lights, so switching buttons can change into cyclic lighting mode. 

5.According to the Spray velocity and water capacity of the aromatherapy diffuser, the service time of the aromatherapy diffuser can be known. Our flame diffuser have 180ml water capacity, can be used for 8-12hours.  Now most aromatherapy diffusers have the function of water shut off. When the machine is short of water, the power will be cut off automatically.Ensures security to the greatest extent.
